drive from the beautiful sandy beach at Trebarwith Strand and 15
miles from Crackington Haven, in the quiet hamlet of Tregoodwell,
stands Little Cobbetts. Converted from the stables and barns of a
Victorian house, this lovely, semi-detached property has been
tastefully converted into a delightful holiday home of quality and
style. The imaginative use of simple, contemporary furnishings, pale
colours and pine furniture gives a feeling of space and light. A
screen partially separates the lounge/diner from the kitchen.
Both the bedrooms are spacious and light
with, pale walls and brightly coloured soft
furnishings. The local area has much to offer; relax with a stroll
on the beach either at Trebarwith or the long sandy surfing beaches
of Widemouth Bay and Bude. Experience horse riding on the moor,
microlight flights over moors and coast, or sailing, windsurfing and
kiting. Visit King Arthur's Castle and Merlin's Cave at Tintagel or
Killarney Springs, where there are animals to feed, a boating lake
and a commando course. Bikes can be hired in Camelford for a
leisurely ride along the Camel Trail to Padstow. For teenagers,
Newquay with surf shops, clubs and pubs as well as a beach for every
day of the week, is just a short drive away. If you would like to
learn to surf but have never had the nerve, Newquay boasts a number
of surf schools including one exclusively for ladies and children,
so no need to compete with the lads. Little Cobbetts is central for
so many of Cornwall's attractions, all you have do is choose.
