Limestone
The sign-posted footpath, which leads from the village of Worth Matravers to the sea and coves at Winspit, passes close to Limestone. Follow the coastal path and you will find secret places with evocative names such as Dancing Ledge and the Tilly Whim Caves. This is Dorset at its best, where the chalk downs meet the sea, providing magnificent natural sculptures such as Durdle Door and the almost circular Lulworth Cove. Limestone is built of local Purbeck Stone and has an enviable position with views over the gently rolling countryside to the sea. The property is light and spacious. The attractive, beamed lounge has an open fireplace with fuel provided free of charge. From here, you step into the sun lounge from which you have views of the sea. The master bedroom occupies the top floor and has magnificent coastal views. There is a large, informal, lawned garden with wild flowers and shrubs to the front of the house and rockeries to the rear. A barbecue is provided for balmy summer evenings. |
