barn set in ten acres of grounds, which includes the owners' home
and Rosewood Cottage. Within the grounds a wildlife lake attracts a
wide variety of birds and butterflies. A circular walk, with
seating, enables you to explore the lake at leisure. Young and old
will enjoy the games room, shared with

table, tabletop football, television and a games console. A small
charge applies for pool and football. Lakeside has a large courtyard
for parking, a small-grassed area and a patio, which is fully
enclosed with attractive, wrought iron railings. Three steps lead
from the courtyard onto the patio with two steps leading up to a
smaller seating area, ideal for a barbecue. Inside, the contemporary
design includes a beautiful bespoke kitchen/diner and a mezzanine
living area with sumptuous leather sofas and a large picture window
to maximise the far-reaching views. The kitchen/diner has an island
unit, double oven, an extending dining table and doors out onto the
patio. The combination of white walls, wooden floors, oak and pine
furniture with splashes of colour provided by rugs, soft furnishings
and paintings is striking. Visitor attractions within easy reach
include Quince Honey Farm, The Big Sheep, award winning beaches and
the National Parks of Exmoor and Dartmoor. At nearby Instow you can
sail, water-ski or hire a bike and join the scenic Tarka Cycle
Trail. The owners of Lakeside will provide a warm welcome, including
a delicious cream tea!
