Jacob's Pond is a delightful, character cottage in a lovely rural landscape, with views over rolling countryside to the Quantocks and Exmoor. On a clear day you can see as far as the Severn Estuary and the Black Mountains in the Brecon Beacons! The surrounding area is excellent for walking and cycling with an endless choice of historic sites, interesting gardens, family attractions and acres of unspoilt countryside and coastline. Next to the owner’s home, Jacob's Pond is a semi-detached property, which was built in 1900 as an estate cottage using local Capton stone. Jacob's Pond can cater perfectly for the extended family or two couples. It is comfortable and homely with a lovely large, enclosed cottage garden, gated courtyard with parking, spacious living rooms as well as a dining room, sun lounge and four bedrooms.

	Williton is a mile and a half from Capton with local shops and the Bakelite Museum. From here you can join the Macmillan Way, which climbs Exmoor to the highest point at Dunkery Beacon or board the West Somerset Steam Railway travelling through stunning countryside between Bishops Lydeard and Minehead. From Nether Stowey you can follow in the footsteps of the romantic poet, Samuel Taylor Coleridge, by joining the Coleridge Way to Porlock on the Exmoor Coast. St Audries Bay and Blue Anchor Bay are within five miles and are popular for fossil hunting. No visit to Somerset is complete without visiting Dunster Castle perched high on a hilltop with views over Dunster village and across to the sea.
