Inglewood is a large Victorian house built into the hillside, overlooking the mouth of the River Yealm at Newton Ferrers. This attractive village is one of several which line the wooded banks of the river as it winds its way to the sea. Pretty, colour washed cottages and waterside pubs bedecked with flowers and hanging baskets, make for an idyllic setting that attracts people for many reasons. Boaties are drawn to the excellent sailing waters; and for those wanting to unwind and relax, on the large secluded terrace, you can spend the day watching the activity on the small working beach.

As a base for touring it is well located. On a clear day the liners leaving Southampton and the Ferries from Plymouth can be seen in the distance. Inside, the apartment is furnished in contemporary style. All the rooms are light, bright and spacious. In the lounge, pine beams, a feature electric fire and French windows, which open onto the terrace, create a room that is welcoming in summer and winter. The entrance to the apartment is reached via a shallow stepped path through the owner's beautiful garden, which you are welcome to share. From the lower end of the garden a flight of steps provides a short cut to the village where you will find a good selection of small shops and pubs. A few miles away the cosmopolitan city of Plymouth boasts excellent shopping, theatres, museums and tourist attractions including the world famous Barbican. For those seeking a quieter time the many beaches and coves of the South Hams are just a short drive away. If you feel in need of a little exercise, there is golf on the moorland course at Wrangaton and horse riding on Dartmoor.
