The holiday village of Honicombe Manor is set in 30 acres of
rolling countryside in the beautiful Tamar Valley on the Devon/Cornwall
border. Surrounded by fields, woodland and streams, with views of Dartmoor,
the setting is tranquil and picturesque. The accommodation features high
quality villas, bungalows and lodges, many with wonderful views. The
excellent on-site facilities includes an INDOOR
HEATED SWIMMING POOL with TODDLER POOL, an OUTDOOR HEATED SWIMMING POOL,
a fitness centre, saunas and tennis courts. The Manor House complex
includes a bar, the Conservatory Restaurant and entertainment in the holiday
weeks. If you wish to venture further afield then the extensive network of
footpaths and cycle routes, the scenic Tamar Valley Line and Tamar Passenger
Ferry make it easy and fun to explore the area by foot, bicycle, boat or

The Tamar Valley is marked by four ancient towns, Launceston,
Callington, Tavistock and Saltash and is designated as an Area of
Outstanding Natural Beauty, with some of the finest scenery in the
West Country. Rich in history and wildlife there are many fine
houses and glorious gardens including Cotehele, Buckland Abbey and
Mount Edgcumbe, as well as interesting villages such as Morwellham,
now a living history museum of Victorian life. Within easy reach are
Bodmin Moor and Dartmoor National Park, Plymouth with its historic
Barbican, Hoe and National Marine Aquarium, the stunning south coast
beaches and The Eden Project. St Mellion Golf course is four miles
away and a short walk from Honicombe is a Donkey Park and sanctuary.
River Valley Lodge is a two storey, 3 bedroom timber and stone,
Alpine style lodge. It is the end lodge, of a group of three, in a
lovely setting next to a stream. On the ground floor there are three
attractive bedrooms including an en-suite double bedroom with glass
doors, leading onto a small patio. Upstairs, the lounge/diner has
lovely views out across the large timbered balcony, to the fields
beyond.
Note: 4:00pm check-in.
A £40 refundable Security Deposit is payable.
Cot and Highchairs are available for hire (£15 per week each).
Accommodation: Ground Floor: Bedroom 1 with double bed and en-suite
bathroom with bath, shower, WC and washbasin. Bedroom 2 with twin
beds. Bedroom 3 with twin beds. Shower room with shower cubicle, WC
and washbasin. First Floor: Lounge/Diner with balcony. Kitchen.
