Holly's Lookout Holly’s
Lookout is an attractive, first floor wing of the owner’s home,
close to the village of Corton Denham on the Dorset/Somerset border.
The elevated position of the property makes it feel as though you
are living amongst the treetops, with the magnificent window in the
sitting room offering panoramic views along the valley. The property
has its own private entrance and an enclosed, secluded garden area,
with long views towards the village and the hills beyond.
Guests can walk down through the owner’s fields
(with horses, sheep and chickens), cross the stream and join the
public footpath to the Queen’s Arms. This friendly village pub
offers a varied menu for adults and children, with special events
taking place throughout the year. Ideal for walkers, cyclists and
bird lovers, Holly’s Lookout is a peaceful and cosy retreat for all
seasons. Both families and couples can enjoy a host of activities in
the surrounding area, with lots to choose from less than an hours
drive away.
Nearest Coastline: The World Heritage Jurassic Coast, from Swanage
through to Weymouth and Lyme Regis. |
