Hole Barn Bodmin Moor is approximately one and a half miles from the village of St Neot. Enjoying the mild Cornish climate, St Neot is a wonderful centre for a family holiday. In 2006 the village won the "Village of the Decade" award and whether you visit in summer or winter, there are many events taking place: the pantomime in February, Oak Apple Day in May and the summer carnival, fetes, flower festival and ram roast. The local pub offers a warm welcome and and has an excellent reputation for good food. Ideal for touring Cornwall, the coast can be reached in twenty minutes and all of Cornwall's many visitor attractions are within an easy drive including Flambards theme park and The Eden Project. The area is rich in history and legend, Bodmin Moor has many archaeological remains, the magic Dozmary Pool, in which lies King Arthur's sword and Jamaica Inn made famous by Daphne du Maurier. |
