Hillcrest is a detached bungalow, set on a hillside overlooking Porthtowan and the beach, which is popular for swimming and surfing. Those who travel to the beach with lots of equipment and young children will be glad of the car park in the village. Keen walkers are just a few minutes from the coastal path; you can head for St Agnes to the north or Portreath to the south.

There are steps down from the parking spaces to the bungalow, however inside, it is level apart from two small steps, which lead from the lounge into the conservatory. The conservatory doubles as a dining room and from here you can enjoy the sun setting over the sea and views along the coast to St Ives and the Godrevy Lighthouse; the master bedroom also has beautiful sea views Hillcrest is reached via a long, narrow country lane and has a gently sloping lawned garden.

Nearest Coastline: Down the cliff path to Porthtowan beach below the property. Portreath and Perranporth.

	Tourist Attractions: The National Maritime Museum at Falmouth, The Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan, The Tate Gallery at St Ives and The Lappa Valley Steam Railway at East Wheal. Cycling or walking on the Portreath Tramroad. Golf is available at Tehidy and Perranporth. At the Radnor Leisure Complex you can learn to ski at the indoor ski centre.
