Higher Yellands Cottage is situated at the end of a
country lane, on the edge of the pretty, peaceful village of Whimple. The
architect-designed interior has retained many of the original character
features of this traditional cob cottage, whilst at the same time
introducing modern high standards in the kitchen and bathrooms. Vibrant,
warm, Mediterranean colours are a feature throughout this lovely property,
from the tiles in the kitchen to the comfortable suite in the lounge and the
soft furnishings in the bedrooms.
The kitchen door opens onto a pretty, walled courtyard,
complete with pots of flowers, patio table, chairs and a parasol. There is a
TENNIS COURT adjacent to the cottage, which you are very welcome to
use; you can watch the children practise their skills from the Juliet
balcony in the lounge.
Nearest Coastline: The beaches at Budleigh
Salterton, Sidmouth and Exmouth.
Tourist Attractions: The National Trust properties
of Knightshayes Court, Killerton House and A La Ronde House. The Donkey
Sanctuary and Crealy Adventure Park. Walking along the South West Coast
