Halfpenny Cottage is a superb, detached house in the village of Harrowbarrow, with stunning views across the glorious Tamar Valley. With use of an OUTDOOR HEATED SWIMMING POOL
(mid May to end of September), Halfpenny Cottage is perfect for family holidays. The impressive outdoor pool is occasionally shared with the owner.  Barbecues can be enjoyed by the poolside (by prior arrangement). In addition to a private garden, guests are welcome to enjoy the wildlife garden which is ideal for playing ball games or hide and seek!

Designed and furnished to a very high standard throughout, with far reaching views from several rooms, Halfpenny Cottage has a large balcony overlooking the pool, gardens and the valley beyond. With a luxury shower room and two bedrooms on the ground floor, the property is also suitable for guests with limited mobility. For a special occasion or a change from the pubs and restaurants nearby, village based "Two Creative Cooks" will prepare and deliver you a celebratory meal!

The Tamar Valley and surrounding area has attractions for all ages; Kit Hill Country Park and the National Marine Aquarium are fun days out. Lydford Gorge, the Eden Project and the houses at Cotehele or Mount Edgcumbe are fascinating and both Bodmin Moor and Dartmoor are within easy reach. The famous St Mellion Golf Club is only five miles away.
