Set in the romantic village of Marazion, with its long sandy beach, quaint old pubs and the historic St. Michael's Mount, Gillan is a modern property, in a little street, just a short walk from the shoreline. The house is furnished in contemporary style, with solid wood or sumptuously carpeted floors and lots of attention to detail. On the first floor, the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner has comfortable sofas, discreet lighting, a state of the art kitchen and enjoys views of the sea across the rooftops to St Michael's Mount. All the bedrooms are prettily furnished and, from the double bedroom, patio doors lead onto the decking area where amongst the pots and flowers, a table and chairs are provided. Unusually for Marazion, Gillan has its own off-road parking space just a short walk from the house. Marazion is a special place for everyone, for the children the sandy beach is sandcastle heaven, for teenagers the surfing, windsurfing and body boarding are irresistible and for the grown ups the interesting little shops, tearooms and very traditional pubs provide plenty of interest.
