Down a quiet lane, on the edge of the village of Doddiscombsleigh, in the beautiful Teign valley, you will find Garden Springs, an attractive bungalow, attached to the owner's property. There are stunning, uninterrupted views across the valley from the lounge, kitchen and bedroom, as well as the private garden, which has a picnic table, parasol and a small pond. During the day the garden attracts an abundance of bird life and in the evening there are wonderful sunsets to enjoy. Within a short walk is the internationally renowned, award winning, 16th century "Nobody Inn", a free house famous for its creative cooking, based on fresh local produce, its selection of local cheeses and a wonderful range of wines and whiskies.

The nearby Teign Valley Golf Course is open to non-members and there are some beautiful walks along the River Teign and through the local picturesque villages. Keen anglers, with the appropriate licence, can fish from the banks of the River Teign or at the three nearby reservoirs, Kennick, Tottiford and Trenchford. There are sandy beaches at Dawlish, Teignmouth and Shaldon, as well as a deer park at Powderham Castle. The Cathedral City of Exeter offers museums, theatres, shops, restaurants and guided walks around the ancient walls. National Trust properties in the area include Killerton House, Knightshayes Court and A La Ronde. Note: Friday changeover. Non-smokers only. This property is not suitable for babies or children.
