Tucked away in the pretty hamlet of Dainton, The Garden Cottage is a detached converted barn, ideal for a couple or small family.

An unusual wooden spiral staircase leads from the traditionally furnished open plan ground floor to two comfortable bedrooms. Outside, guests are free to enjoy three-quarters of an acre of superb enclosed gardens, which include an extensive lawn, complete with a goal, where children can enjoy a game of football. At the front of the cottage, the secluded patio area is the ideal spot to relax, perhaps light a barbecue and enjoy the peace and tranquillity. Just a short drive away is the popular Dainton Park Golf Club. Non-members are welcome to use all of the facilities, which include a health club and restaurant. (Charges apply and booking in advance for golf is advisable.)

Nearest Coastline: The beaches of Torbay, comprising Torquay, Paignton and Brixham. The South Hams coast.
