The Garden
Apartment, aptly named, overlooks the beautiful lawned grounds of the
striking, stone mansion house built in the 19th century for the Governor of
Ceylon. The spacious interior has rooms with high ceilings, casement
windows, comfortable furnishings and a Minster stone fireplace in the
lounge. A bright conservatory opens onto the marvellous lawns and gardens,
with a stunning variety of colourful plants, shrubs and flowers. Garden
chairs are available, enabling guests to relax in lovely surroundings and
enjoy the wonderful views beyond. |
