Once a pair of miners’ cottages, this Victorian end of terrace property has been renovated to create a welcoming holiday home. Retaining some of the original features, the cottage has a tasteful blend of traditional charm together with a contemporary feel. There is a small garden with a patio area, table, chairs and a barbecue. Bere Alston is a large, lively village with a selection of family run shops and pubs and a little train station from where a local train wends its way through the most beautiful scenery to the city of Plymouth. The nearby village of Bere Ferrers has a riverside pub and walks along the banks of the River Tavy.

Nearest Coastline: The estuary at Bere Ferrers. Further afield, Torpoint and Plymouth.

Tourist Attractions: The National Trust’s Buckland Abbey and Cotehele House. The River Dart Country Park, Morwellham Quay and the historic town of Tavistock. Dartmoor offers an amazing diversity of leisure activities including hiking, climbing, bird watching, cycling, walking and horse riding.
