In the spring there are flowers everywhere and this beautiful countryside provides a natural habitat for wildlife. Bude Bay is right on your doorstep with sandy beaches, some for surfing and some for simply sunbathing, all flanked by spectacular cliffs and rocky ramparts that are the landmark of the North Cornwall/Devon Coast. Bude is a popular seaside resort just two miles to the south and the pretty ancient fishing village of Clovelly is to the north. Local attractions include Brocklands for young children and Killarney Springs, which has animals to feed, boat trips, commando slides and toboggans and is a great family day out.

Foxdown Cottage adjoins Thistledown Cottage and enjoys the same views across the rolling countryside to the sea beyond. The master bedroom is light and spacious with coordinated blue and white soft furnishings. The lounge has comfortable leather sofas, dark wood beams and a woodburner effect fire.
