Weymouth is at the heart of the World Heritage Coast and has long been called England's Bay of Naples, largely unspoilt and with the best sunshine record in England. There are historical buildings, a restored Victorian Fort, museums, a shopping centre and a marina as well as a picturesque harbour and plenty of visitor attractions. The coastline is stunning and the wonderful, award winning beach of soft sand and clear water is safe for bathing and water sports. Just a short walk from the town centre and the beach is Farthings, a modern, semi-detached town house situated at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in a smart residential area. The property is fresh and stylish in design and furnishings; the living room has wooden floors and leather sofas and leads to the dining room and the snazzy kitchen. Patio doors open from the dining room onto the small, enclosed garden with decking and garden furniture. The bedrooms are very attractive with plenty of storage space.

The spacious king-size bedroom has lovely bed linen and gold voile dressing the windows. There are many outstanding coastal walks around Weymouth and Portland. A short drive takes you into Thomas Hardy countryside with wonderful scenery as seen in the film 'Far From The Madding Crowd'. At nearby Abbotsbury is the famous swannery, home to a colony of mute swans and the RSPB Nature Reserve. Dorset has many interesting National Trust properties and gardens to enjoy including Hardy's cottage, Kingston Lacey and Corfe Castle.
