The attractive village of Sway is ideally located on the southern edge of the New Forest and is only three miles from the south coast. On the edge of the village, Eider Cottage provides a wonderful home from which to explore this lovely area. Inside, the cottage is beautifully furnished and has a fresh, contemporary feel. The spacious lounge/diner is stunning in shades of cream and brown with a stylish leather suite and light dining table that blend beautifully with the soft furnishings, wooden floors and subtle lighting. From the dining area, you step into a lovely conservatory with plenty of comfy seating, which opens onto the pretty, sheltered, private garden, bordered by mature trees. The garden slopes down from a decked patio at the top to terraced flowerbeds below and finally a further decked area at the bottom, with built in barbecue; here you can sit and listen to the stream, which is just the other side of the fence.

	The New Forest covers 145 square miles and is home to hundreds of free roaming ponies, cattle and deer. The forest boasts ancient oak and beech trees including the much-visited Knightwood Oak, 22 feet in circumference. The 150 miles of gravel roads and many foot and bridlepaths make this a wonderful area for cycling, riding and walking. Bournemouth and Christchurch offer clean, golden, sandy beaches, all the usual seaside entertainment as well as beautiful gardens, shops, theatres and concert halls. Sites of historic interest include Christchurch Priory, Hurst Castle and The Palace House at Beaulieu. Sway has a railway station and Brockenhurst, Ashurst and Bournemouth can all be reached by train. Check Availability at Eider Cottage Note: Non-Smokers Only. Saturday Changeover Only.
