Dove Cottage is a pretty, 400 year old terraced cottage, with a paved garden area and a small stream crossed by a stone bridge to the front. To the rear of the cottage is a large parking area and pretty, enclosed lawn and patio. As you enter the hall of Dove Cottage, with its deep window seat full of cushions, you become aware of the owner’s innate sense of style that blends contemporary and traditional furnishings, to create a welcoming holiday home.

Stringston is situated on the northern slopes of the Quantock Hills, famous for their wildlife and wonderful walks across acres of heathland and forests. This small, rural hamlet is bordered by farmland and is just five minutes drive from the West Somerset coast at Kilve, where the hills meet the sea. Kilve has a busy 17th century coaching inn, a Post Office and village store.

	Nearest Coastline: The beaches at Kilve, Minehead and Blue Anchor Bay. St. Audries Bay has a dog friendly beach. Tourist Attractions: Dunster Castle, Bakelite Museum and watermill and the West Somerset Steam Railway. Fossil hunting at Kilve Beach. The West Somerset Coast Path & Coleridge Way are nearby. Walking and cycling on The Quantocks, golfing, shops and restaurants at Minehead and Dunster. There is fishing and pony trekking nearby and also Wildlife Parks and a Nature Reserve.
