Dean Cottage is a delightful Grade II listed, 16th
century thatched cottage set in the heart of the lovely village of
Stokeinteignhead. Dean Cottage provides quality accommodation combined
with unique character and charm. The cottage has a large
kitchen/breakfast room with views over the garden, a dining room with
television and electric flame-effect woodburner and an attractive lounge
with wooden beams and comfortable leather seating. Upstairs, the three
pretty bedrooms peep out from under the thatch. To the rear of the
cottage is a fully enclosed garden with garden furniture. The village
has a community shop and a popular pub, the Church House Inn, which
serves lunches and has an extensive evening menu. For those who enjoy
walking, bird watching or water sports the location is hard to beat.
Explore the lovely picturesque village of Shaldon before hopping onto
the foot ferry to Teignmouth. |
