The Coach House is a detached property, set in two acres, with wonderful views to Hamel Downs. Upstairs, there is a lounge with a woodburner, which creates a cosy atmosphere during the winter months, and three charming bedrooms; the second bedroom has bunk beds and a selection of games and toys for children. This traditional stone-built property has retained its own unique, rustic charm, enhanced by the antique pictures and furniture. There is a separate dining area on the ground floor and a small kitchen. The Coach House has use of the garden, with table, chairs and a children's swing. The owner's property is within the grounds and children are welcome to help feed the chickens.

Set in the Dartmoor National Park, the village of Widecombe is remarkably unspoilt, despite being renowned for Uncle Tom Cobley and its annual fayre in September. The village has two popular pubs; The Old Inn, which dates back to the 14th century and The Rugglestone Inn. There are also gift shops, a National Trust shop and café. Within a short drive are the beautiful South Devon beaches of Bigbury-on-Sea and Bantham. For traditional, seaside entertainment a visit to the towns of Paignton, Brixham and Torquay will certainly be a hit!
