Ciderapple is a delightful property, furnished to a high standard and a wonderful idyll for two. Attached to the owner's home it is one of three barn conversions situated in a small, rural hamlet just outside St Giles on the Heath, on the Devon and Cornwall border. Surrounded by countryside, and on the confluence of the Rivers Tamar and Carey, the location is peaceful and tranquil, yet within easy reach of the stunning north coast beaches and lively seaside towns. The living room is spacious with dark brown leather seating, a dining table and a large woodburner for warm, intimate evenings. The bedroom is elegant and feminine with lovely bed linen, drapes and crystal light fittings, which are complemented wonderfully by dark wood furniture.

One of the joys of Ciderapple is the large garden where table, chairs, sun loungers and a summerhouse are available. If you can tear yourself away from this peaceful haven then there is much to do. Explore the scenic river valleys, waterfalls and granite tors of Dartmoor National Park and Bodmin Moor. Nearby Roadford Reservoir offers windsurfing, canoeing, sailing and fly fishing for trout. Enjoy river walks from Ciderapple and horse riding along the old railway lines. The Arundel Arms Hotel in Lifton welcomes non-residents to dine or fish for salmon and trout, in its private 20 mile stretch of river. Launceston has a choice of shops and restaurants and Bude, with sandy surfing beaches and entertainment, is a short drive away. Gardens and country houses to visit include Lanhydrock, Cotehele and The Lost Gardens of Heligan. The Eden Project is within an hour's drive.
