Ivybridge, in the beautiful South Hams, enjoys a wonderful natural setting and centuries of history as a mill town and a staging post on the London Road. There are excellent opportunities for walkers and ramblers with access to the Erme Valley Trail, which stretches 102 miles across Dartmoor and Exmoor. Ivybridge has a variety of specialist shops, hostelries, cafés and a popular leisure centre with heated indoor and outdoor pools. Carpenter's Cottage is a detached property, part of which dates back over 100 years, situated just a short walk from the shops and leisure centre, set back from the road at the end of a gated, private walkway. The cottage is a lovely, comfortable, home from home. The kitchen/diner has a porcelain-tiled floor, beech work surfaces, an oak dining table and views to the garden. From the lounge, French doors open onto the enclosed garden with sunny patio, ideal for a barbecue. Wooden stairs lead up to the attractive bedrooms and bathroom with mosaic stone flooring and an antique sink.

	With so many attractions and places to visit nearby, no two days need be the same! Visit Lukesland Gardens, just north of Ivybridge - wander through the stunning grounds and enjoy refreshments served in the Victorian Billiard Room. Paignton Zoo, Woodlands Adventure Park and Pennywell Farm are all great family days out. The beautiful beaches and coastline, including Bigbury Bay and Start Bay, are just a scenic drive away.
