Camomile is a detached stone cottage, ideal for couples or small families looking for a tranquil location. The cottage is situated in the grounds of the owner's house, overlooking attractive, large, shared gardens and also includes a bluebell wood and stream, which you are welcome to explore. There is a private, covered patio, where it is wonderful to sit, day or evening and enjoy the fragrance of the array of plants and flowers. There is a cosy lounge, with an electric feature fire, separated from the kitchen by a breakfast bar. Upstairs, the pretty double bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and views over the fields. The property is reached by a well-maintained country track and it is a two-mile walk from the cottage, along a footpath, to the small village of Bere Ferrers, where you can enjoy a cool drink at the waterside pub. Even closer is Bere Alston, which has shops, a pub and its own railway station from where you can take a scenic trip down the valley to Plymouth.

The Tamar Valley has been awarded 'World Heritage Status' for its rich mining heritage and inspirational landscape. Numerous places of interest close by include the National Trust properties of Buckland Abbey and Cotehele, and the beautiful Garden House. The property has plenty of space for cars, including a boat and trailer. The stabling of horses and pony trekking can be arranged.
