Buzzard's Cottage is an attractive, detached bungalow surrounded by pine, palm and fir trees, a natural habitat for its namesake. Just three miles from the beaches at Porthtowan and Portreath, Buzzard's Cottage offers a variety of activities nearby including canoeing, bodyboarding, walking, cycling and golf. The property is light and bright, with comfortable furnishings throughout and access via a ramp making it suitable for guests with limited mobility. To one side of the bungalow there is a private patio and lawned area for guests’ sole use, with the owners’ home and garden to the other side. In addition to an X-box games console in Buzzard's Cottage, there is also outdoor leisure equipment, including a trampoline, a rope swing and a sand pit. Bodyboards, windbreaks, canoes and right-handed golf clubs are also available for guests’ use, together with secure storage for bicycles or water sports equipment. Guests may also use a gas barbecue and enjoy a bubbling hot tub, by prior arrangement with the owner.

Popular attractions within easy reach include Pendennis Castle, The Royal Cornwall Museum and the attractive gardens at Bosvigo, Penjerrick or Treboh. Redruth, famous for its mining history, is just a few miles away and the Tolgus Mill, displaying the largest collection of Gold and Silver Jewellery in the South West and James Bond's Aston Martin DB5 as seen in the film 'Goldfinger', is not to be missed! For golfers, Radnor and Tehidy Golf Clubs offer a daily membership.
