With a choice of four beaches less than seven miles away, Bunty’s Cottage is ideal for those wishing to explore the delights of Somerset. Surrounded by the magnificent forest and woodlands of the Quantocks, Brendon Hills and Exmoor National Park, the small village of Washford is best known as the site of Cleeve Abbey, famous for its mediaeval monastery.

Bunty’s Cottage is spacious, comfortable and immaculately presented, with a fully enclosed garden and views overlooking neighbouring fields. Doors from the lounge/diner lead to the rear garden with patio furniture and a barbecue; perfect for children to play safely or adults to relax in peaceful surroundings. The stylish kitchen is both spacious and practical. Upstairs, each bedroom has attractive, quality furnishings and the master bedroom has an en-suite shower room.

	Take a nostalgic steam train journey through Somerset and Dorset from Washford Railway Station, just a short walk away from Bunty’s Cottage. For traditional seaside attractions, safe bathing, water sports and fossil-hunting, Minehead, Dunster, Watchet and Blue Anchor Bay are all nearby. With its impressive seafront and promenade, Minehead also offers a wide variety of shops, restaurants, pubs and lively nightlife. Dunster Castle, Hestercombe Gardens, Dunkery Vineyard and museums featuring dolls and railway artefacts are well worth visiting. For younger children Tropiquaria Wildlife Park and Exmoor Falconry are great fun and enthusiastic walkers can enjoy the South West Coast Path or Coleridge Way.
