Bridge End Cottage is an attractive 17th century property situated in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, close to the humpback bridge that strides the beautiful River Otter. A wonderful location for walking, cycling and horse riding the area is networked with footpaths and trails that are a pleasure to explore. The cottage sits on a country lane, slightly set back from the busy main road leading to the popular resorts of Sidmouth, Seaton and Lyme Regis. The nearby village of Newton Poppleford has a selection of shops, a church, pubs and three restaurants. Unusual in design Bridge End Cottage is a linked, part thatch and cob property; the older, thatched side of the cottage has a lovely lounge/diner with woodburner and stairs leading to the pretty double and twin bedrooms. On the right side you will find the kitchen/breakfast room with steps leading up to the king-size bedroom with en-suite bathroom. At the rear of the cottage is a sunny decked area with table and chairs, (there are five steps up to the decking). The owner lives across the lane and can arrange safe storage of bicycles and dog owners are welcome to use her paddock to exercise dogs. With plenty to explore in the surrounding area the local bus service makes it easy to leave the car behind. The seaside town of Sidmouth is two miles with lovely beaches backed by stunning red sandstone cliffs. Ladram Bay is three miles and from here you can join the South Devon Coast path or enjoy nightly entertainment at the local holiday park. Crealy Adventure Park is a fun, family day out and the Bicton Park Botanical gardens have nature trails, mini golf and train rides to enjoy. A scenic walk from the cottage follows the River Otter to Otterton where you can visit the water mill with galleries, bakery and restaurant.
Note: Non-Smokers Only. Barbecues are not permitted at this property due to the thatched roof.

 A £50 refundable Security Deposit is payable.

Bedroom 2 with twin beds. First Floor (right): Bedroom 3 with king-size bed. Bathroom with bath, electric shower, hand shower, WC and washbasin.
