Bridge End Cottage is an attractive 17th century property situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The cottage sits on a country lane, slightly set back from the busy main road leading to the popular resorts of Sidmouth, Seaton and Lyme Regis. The nearby village of Newton Poppleford has a selection of shops, a church, pubs and three restaurants. Unusual in design, Bridge End Cottage is a linked part thatch and cob property; the older, thatched side of the cottage has a lovely lounge/diner with woodburner and stairs leading to the pretty double and twin bedrooms. On the right side you will find the kitchen/breakfast room with steps leading up to the king-size bedroom with en-suite bathroom.

At the rear of the cottage is a sunny decked area with table and chairs (there are five steps up to the decking). The owner lives nearby and can arrange safe storage of bicycles and guests are welcome to use the paddock to exercise dogs. With plenty to explore in the surrounding area the local bus service makes it easy to leave the car behind. The seaside town of Sidmouth is two miles away with lovely beaches backed by stunning red sandstone cliffs. Ladram Bay is within three miles and from here you can join the South Devon Coast Path. Crealy Adventure Park is a fun, family day out and the Bicton Park Botanical Gardens have nature trails, mini golf and train rides to enjoy.
