Situated in a quiet hamlet less than a mile from Bude, Bridge Cottage offers all the home comforts for a relaxing break any time of year. With many personal touches throughout, including fresh flowers on arrival and a selection of books and videos to enjoy, you will be assured of a warm welcome. The cottage is traditionally furnished and a Rayburn keeps the cottage warm, evoking images of cosy nights in. There is an enclosed garden with sun terrace and a small lawn, providing a safe area for young children to play. With so much to see and do locally, Bridge Cottage is an ideal base for couples and young families wishing to explore this beautiful coastline, much of it designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Bude has miles of stunning beaches, a tide-washed swimming pool, golf course and a leisure centre. For the adventurous there is the opportunity to try challenging pursuits such as surfing, canoeing, kayaking and abseiling. For wining, dining or local shopping, the village of Stratton is only a stroll away.

Places of interest worth visiting include the pretty fishing village of Boscastle, Clovelly with its ancient harbour and cobbled streets and Tintagel, the legendary birthplace of King Arthur. Widemouth Bay and Crackington Haven both have dramatic coastlines with sandy bays and rock pools to explore. Families will enjoy the Eden Project, the castle and steam railway at Launceston, or the monastery and gardens at Hartland Abbey. The British Cycling Museum is full of history and memorabilia and there are many rare and unique exhibits at the Bradworthy Transport Museum.
