The Blueball properties are situated just off the main
village road and the large garden of the Farmhouse fronts onto this road.
The location is ideal for visiting the coast at Sidmouth or Exmouth, or
inland to Exeter, Honiton and Axminster. The local pub, The Otter Inn, is a
two-minute walk and offers a wide variety of food, real ales and a popular
Sunday carvery. Families are welcome and there is a beer garden. The
magnificent gardens of Bicton Park are only half a mile away with Escot
Garden Maze and Fantasy Woodland a little further. From the village, a
delightful path follows the River Otter to Otterton where you can visit the
water mill with gallery, bakery and restaurant. One of
the joys of Blueball Farmhouse is the spacious kitchen/diner with a huge
woodburner and a magnificent, long oak dining table. In the attractive
lounge there is another woodburner and doors opening onto the side patio
with table, chairs and a parasol. The house also has a snug, a useful
addition to the main lounge, which has comfy seating and a television.
Upstairs there are four attractive bedrooms and a family bathroom.
