The village of Colaton Raleigh lies in the beautiful Otter Valley, between Sidmouth and Budleigh Salterton and within five miles of the East Devon coast and World Heritage Site. The stunning scenery is best viewed on foot and there are excellent walks that take in the best of both worlds; follow the River Otter as it meanders through countryside teeming with birdlife, then join the South West Coast Path with amazing views, prehistoric cliffs and the chance to hunt for fossils. Blueball Barn and Blueball Dairy are adjoining converted barns, built to an exceptionally high standard and with meticulous attention to detail. They have beautiful fitted kitchens, lovely bedrooms in pastel shades, attractive bathrooms with mosaic tiling and comfortable living rooms with woodburners. The floors are either oak or limestone with under floor heating on the ground floors. To the rear of the barns there is a shared patio with garden furniture and parasols. Stone steps lead up to the lawn, bordered by hedges; large potted plants separate the patio into two when the barns are individually let. Situated just off the main village road, the properties are ideally located for visiting the coast at Sidmouth or Exmouth, or inland to Exeter, Honiton and Axminster.

	The local pub, The Otter Inn, is a two-minute walk and offers a wide variety of food and real ales and a popular Sunday carvery. Families are welcome and there is a beer garden. The magnificent gardens of Bicton Park are only half a mile away with Escot Garden Maze and Fantasy Woodland a little further. From the village, a delightful path follows the River Otter to Otterton where you can visit the water mill with gallery, bakery and restaurant. Blueball Barn is a two-storey building with a bright and spacious kitchen/diner, which has views to the garden. There is a separate lounge with a woodburner, furnished in warm terracotta shades, and French doors opening onto the patio. Upstairs, there is a galleried landing leading to the attractive bedrooms and bathroom, all with views of the garden. There is an interconnecting, soundproofed door leading from the kitchen into Blueball Dairy. Note: Non-Smokers Only. Friday Changeover. A Ł75 refundable Security Deposit is payable. From 18 July to 5 September 2008 Blueball Barn can only be booked with Blueball Dairy at Rent band R and will require a Ł150 refundable Security Deposit Accommodation: Ground Floor: Lounge.
