Art Lover's Cottage is a charming, terraced cottage situated on the sea front at Penzance with wonderful panoramic views of Mounts Bay from St Michael's Mount across to Penlee Point and Newlyn Harbour. Dating back to 1826, this former Sea Captain's cottage has been updated to create a bright and appealing holiday home. The cottage has a Mediterranean garden planted with shrubs and coastal plants and a small patio, with table and chairs, from which to enjoy the sea views. Within the small rear courtyard there is a storeroom for bikes and surfboards as well as access to the back lane, ideal for unloading the car. Art Lover’s Cottage has one allocated space at a secure car park, a short stroll away; additional parking is available on the promenade. Furnished in an attractive art and crafts style the lounge has beautiful sea views as does the master bedroom, which features solid oak furniture, a TV and DVD player. A lovely feature of the twin bedroom is the ornamental copper fireplace and in the small bunkroom the children will enjoy the Treasure Chest CD Boombox! Penzance has an excellent selection of shops, restaurants, pubs, art galleries, children's play areas and beaches, also the Art Deco Jubilee outdoor swimming pool and subtropical Morrab Gardens. Popular places to visit include St Michael's Mount, the spectacular cliff-top Minack Theatre and Sennen Cove. It is just a short drive to St Ives with its picturesque harbour and Tate Gallery and a little further to beautiful Land's End. The South West Coast Path is a great way to enjoy the stunning coastal scenery.
