Appletree Cottage is a lovely,
semi-detached, thatched cottage in the picturesque hamlet of
Higher Brimley within the Dartmoor National Park. Built on a
hillside, there are wonderful far-reaching views towards
Bovey Tracey and Haytor. Inside, the cottage is brimming
with character and charm with thick cob walls, original
leaded windows, beamed ceilings, stone fireplaces and
traditional cottage furnishings. The attractive living room
has a woodburner and wonderful views from the window seats
and there are a few steps from this room to the other rooms
on the ground floor. The cottage has a delightful, rose
filled, terraced garden with a thatched summerhouse and
garden furniture. Stone steps lead through the garden to the
cottage. The market town of Bovey Tracey is a short drive
away with a good selection of shops, pubs and an outdoor
heated swimming pool. Haytor is only a one mile walk or
cycle along a country lane, which passes Appletree Cottage.
Storage is available for bicycles.
Nearest Coastline: The beaches at
Teignmouth and Shaldon. The popular South Devon towns of Dartmouth,
Totnes, Salcombe and Torquay.
Tourist Attractions: Becky Falls Woodland
Park and the House of Marbles with glass blowing demonstrations.

Ronde, Coleton Fishacre and the gardens at Greenway, the former
holiday home of Agatha Christie. Dartmoor offers an amazing

watching, walking and horse riding.
