Anna's Cottage is a delightful, detached cottage, standing within forty acres of rolling countryside. To the front of the cottage, a glazed door opens from the lounge into a small, enclosed garden. Walks across the fields lead down to a river and the whole area has a network of footpaths and bridleways, making this an ideal location for walkers. Bampton and nearby Dulverton have a slow pace of life and a charm only found in these unspoilt moorland towns. There are inns to suit all tastes, a good selection of small, family run shops, quiet coffee houses and restaurants. At Dulverton the river Barle is spanned by an attractive three arch bridge and the town is known for its excellent trout and salmon fishing. Inside, Anna's Cottage is simple and welcoming. The kitchen/diner has modern units, which blend with the rustic tiled floor and pine furniture. From here, two steps lead into the cosy lounge where a woodburner provides a welcoming focal point. In summer leave the door open and enjoy the bird song and gentle breeze.
