Situated amidst four acres of meadows and woodland, Acorn Cottage is a delightful detached property with spectacular views, including the impressive King Alfred's Tower on the horizon. South Brewham, situated on the River Brue, retains all the charm and character of a friendly, rural village with two excellent pubs, the Old Red Lion Inn and the Bull Inn, and also a traditional village duck pond.

Acorn Cottage has been transformed from a former cattle stall, dating back several hundred years, into a spacious and comfortable holiday home with attractive décor, furnishings and a traditional woodburner. Doors from the lounge/diner lead to the conservatory and out into the garden, with a secluded patio area and garden furniture. There is a wide selection of books, DVDs, board games and an iPod docking station. There is also secure storage for bicycles. Kennels are available for guests taking dogs to the property, by prior arrangement with the owner.

	Nearest Coastline: Equidistant between the beaches of North Somerset including Burnham-on-Sea and Weston-super-Mare, and the Dorset resorts of Lyme Regis and Charmouth. Tourist Attractions: Stourhead House and Gardens, King Alfred's Tower, Stonehenge, Nunney Castle, Longleat Safari Park, Haynes Motor Museum, Fleet Air Arm Museum and the East Somerset Steam Railway. Short Breaks are available at many of our properties during low season and occasionally for late availability bookings.
