Fundraising Promotion An opportunity to win 7 nights holiday at Mounson Lodge in Devon. West Country Cottages is currently offering the opportunity to win a week at one of our cottages, Mounson Lodge, in Cheriton Bishop, Devon. This attractive, rural property sleeps 3 people and is set amidst rolling countryside, on the eastern edge of The Dartmoor National Park. Mounson Lodge is ideally situated to explore the stunning scenery, fabulous beaches and wealth of attractions that abound in this region of Devon. All you need to do to take part is support Chernobyl Children's Life Line. All we ask is a small donation. Every penny we raise will go towards supporting the charity.
Children affected by the Chernobyl disaster are brought to England each year during the early summer and stay with host families. Many local tourist attractions open their doors for them, like Paignton Zoo who provide free days out. The children have the opportunity to talk and play with local children during visits to nearby schools. It gives the children an opportunity for a holiday they wouldn't normally have. All you need to do is visit our page on Virgin Money Giving and make a small donation of £1.00 (or more if you would like to). Everyone that donates will be entered into the draw to win a week at Mounson Lodge. The promotion will be available from 1st April until 30th August and will be open to anyone who has booked a holiday with West Country Cottages.(The offer applies to all party members listed on the booking who are over 18 at the time of booking ). The draw will be made independently by the charity who will notify us of the winner. The winner will be notified by telephone shortly after the closing date. All donations will be transferred directly to the charity via the Just Giving website with no commission to West Country Cottages. The winner will receive a free week at Mounson Lodge between September 2012 and end of February 2013, excluding school holidays.
